Overview

Panch Pokhari Trekking is way to explore samanism in Nepal. Panch Pokhari name after fact 5 holy ponds, to which Hindus religiously respect. The place, Panch Pokhara is very popular among Nepalese saman and must hunted by them. The trek commence from here to the farmland, villages and forest of Rhododendron, conifer, bamboo’s, oaks and pines. In the spring forest looks enchanting with flowers all around.

This trek offers pristine mountain views, rich cultural diversity, unsurpassed natural beauty, combination of rich cultural heritage, wild lifes and biological diversity. Mostly done with camping treks as well home stay facilities are available, which can experienced through untouched traditional villages and people with great Himalayan vista and landscape. Passing through the beautiful villages, dense forest, meadows and terrace field the trek offers excellent views of Jugal Himal, Rolwaling himalayan ranges and part of the Gosainkunda area giving true exposure to the typical Nepalese lifestyle, tradition, uses and custom of local communities.

To the north–east of Kathmandu lies the Langtang National park. The off-the beaten trail to Panch Pokhari, (Literary means five ponds) situated at 4462 meters offers excellent hike through beautiful Oak and Rhododendron forest with magnificent views. The snow capped mountains of Jugal Himal at sunrise and the interaction with Sherpa’s who live in this region makes this trek worthwhile.
